It started as a place for mamako, a selfish child, to create what she envisions.

mamako style creates works that specialize in designs that utilize hand-drawn line drawings and photography that utilizes natural light.

In this era of increasing digitalization, we carefully work on each piece with the desire to deliver the charm of analog.

mamako's creative activities began with Japanese painting, which she majored in at art university.

The knowledge of hospitality and consideration learned through the Omotesenke tea ceremony, and the meaning of ensuring that all actions and manners are reasonable.

By learning the knowledge as a comprehensive kimono advisor, the reliable skills as a kimono dresser, and the charm of Japan's various traditional beauties,

It all started with the desire to express what I envisioned during that process.

At the same time, I learned from my many overseas trips as a hobby that I learned about the charm of the color sense and beauty of form, which is different from Japan.

I learned about cameras and photography to capture moments I don't want to forget, and I learned how to view the world through the viewfinder.

I would like to create things with expressions that I can only do because I have a lot of experience.

 

Currently, I mainly create botanical paintings (plant paintings).

His line drawings are characterized by the use of the technique of kotsugaki (drawing outlines before the colors as the skeleton of a painting. These lines are the lines) that he learned from Japanese painting.
